Institutional Funds

Since its inception in 1994, O’Connor Capital Incorporated has sponsored a series of multi-strategy real estate private equity funds. These funds have invested over $2.5 billion of equity in over $15 billion of real estate transactions on behalf of public and corporate pension funds, endowments, foundations, and private equity investors. These transactions include direct investments in office, industrial, retail, multifamily, lodging and mixed use properties. Our properties are located in the United States, Mexico, Europe, Argentina and Japan.

Real Estate Advisors

ORA is a full service real estate investment advisor which operates on behalf of a diverse group of investors. This business unit currently manages in excess of $2 billion on behalf of its institutional separate account and co-investment clients.

Direct Investments

O’Connor makes select direct investments in real property and ancillary businesses that are not suitable for its institutional vehicles. Noteworthy current portfolio assets include: Parkchester,a 12,271 unit apartment community with ~500,000 sf of urban retail in the Bronx that is owned in partnership with Olshan Properties; The Maximilian, a 188 unit multi-family development located in Long Island City, NY that is owned in partnership with an institutional investor; and CityPlace, a mixed-use retail and residential property in West Palm Beach, FL that is owned in partnership with the Related Companies.

O’Connor relies on in-house development for both ground-up development as well as repositioning opportunities for portfolio assets across its investment platforms and own account. Current noteworthy projects include: The Atmark, a 420 unit apartment development in Cambridge, MA, and Manhattan House, a 583 unit condominium conversion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
