Bill is President and Chief Executive Officer of O’Connor. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Investments for the U.S. for O’Connor. He was based in London from 1999-2002 where he was a senior acquisitions officer. Prior to joining O’Connor in 1996, Bill was an Associate in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group of Merrill Lynch & Co., based in New York. Bill is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Pension Real Estate Association. Bill is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (B.A.) and the Columbia Business School (M.B.A.).
Mark is a Partner and Director of Asset Management of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2006, he served as Director, U.S. Asset Management and Fund Manager of Citigroup Property Investors. Prior to joining Citigroup in 1999, he was a Regional Manager and Acquisitions Manager for J.E. Robert Company. Prior to joining J.E. Robert in 1993, he held various positions at Ekstein-Rothenberg Corporation and Willard R. Baker Development Company. Mark is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mark is a graduate of University of Massachusetts (B.S.) and Southern Methodist University (M.B.A.).
Joel is President of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2011, Joel was with General Growth Properties, Inc. (“GGP”) where he last served as Chief Investment Officer. While with GGP, Joel was instrumental in expediting the successful acquisition of CenterMark Properties, Homart, The Rouse Corporation and various other transactions with a combined dollar value of more than $40 billion. Prior to joining GGP in 1993, Joel held various positions with Equity Financial and Management Company (“Equity”). Among his responsibilities during the five years he was employed by Equity were supervising retail acquisitions for the Zell/Merrill Lynch Opportunity Fund and Equity Properties and Development Company. Joel is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Pension Real Estate Association and the Chicago Council on foreign Relations. Joel is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.S.) and the University of Michigan (M.B.A.).
Tom is a Partner, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of O’Connor. Tom has over 20 years of experience at O’Connor, including overseeing portfolio recapitalizations, financings, property dispositions, accounting, tax, financial reporting, asset management, insurance, treasury and human resources. Prior to joining O’Connor in 1988, Tom was associated with Butler International, beginning in 1980 and serving as its CFO from 1985 until his departure in 1988. Tom began his career working as a Certified Public Accountant at Touche & Ross, a predecessor firm to Deloitte & Touche. Tom is a graduate of Rutgers University where he earned a dual degree in Economics and Accounting.
Miguel is a Senior Associate of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2006, he was a senior financial analyst with Grupo Salinas, Banco Azteca in Mexico City. He also served as an account executive in the commercial banking division of Grupa Financiero Bital in Mexico City. Miguel is a graduate of Universidad del Valle de Mexico (B.S.) and the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology (M.B.A.).
Frank is a Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2002, Frank was a Manager in the Real Estate Services Group at Ernst & Young. Frank is a graduate of Hofstra University (B.B.A.) and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Santiago is a Senior Vice President and Head of the Mexico office of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2004, he was with Hines performing project/development management, asset management and new business activities largely related to Hines’ Emerging Markets Real Estate Funds’ office and industrial portfolio in Mexico. Before joining Hines, he worked as an architect and construction manager. Santiago is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City (Architecture). As a Fulbright Scholar he obtained an M.S. in Real Estate Development and a Master in City Planning, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
John is a Senior Vice President, Head of Acquisitions of O’Connor where he is responsible for the sourcing and structuring of new acquisitions and joint-ventures in the retail and residential sectors. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2009, John worked as an analyst in the Investment Banking division of Citigroup focused on real estate equity offerings, and as a credit analyst for a high yield hedge fund in Greenwich, CT. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. John is a graduate of Williams College (B.A.) and Columbia Business School (M.B.A.).
Brian is a Senior Project Accountant of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2014, Brian was an Accounting Manager at Mitsui Fudosan America focusing on office buildings in New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco, CA. He also previously worked as a Property Accountant at Jones Lang LaSalle. Brian is a graduate of Baruch College (B.A.).
Brett is a Senior Vice President of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2000, he served as a Regional Manager for both Wilder Richman Management and Wesley Housing Corporation. Over the last 14 years, Brett has been directly responsible for or participated in the management and or development of 10,000 residential units. Brett is a graduate of Ohio State University (B.A.) with degrees in Finance and Real Estate and the University of Memphis Business School (M.S.).
David is an Senior Analyst of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2015, David was a Commercial Real Estate Analyst at Capital One Bank, focusing on the underwriting of loans for office, retail, hotel, and multi-family properties. David is a graduate of the Whitman School of Management at the University of Syracuse (B.S.), with degrees in Finance and Accounting.
Joshua is a Vice President of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2011, Joshua was Vice President of Asset Management at Capital Properties in New York City, managing a national real estate portfolio of office, retail, hotel and residential properties. He previously spent time with Gemini Real Estate Advisors and Denholtz Associates, focusing on retail and office investments. Joshua graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.).
Natina is a Senior Vice President and Treasurer of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 1999, Natina was a Senior Manager in the Real Estate Services Group at Arthur Anderson LLP. Natina is a graduate of Binghamton University (B.S.).
Josué is a Vice President of O’Connor where he is responsible for asset management as well as new investments. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, Josué was Planning and Development Director at Mexico Retail Properties. Mr. Zarate’s experience in the sector also includes a summer associate position in Chicago with Equity International as well as various roles at Mexico Retail Properties and Prudential Real Estate Investors LatAm. Mr. Zárate received his B.S. in industrial engineering from ITAM and earned his M.S. degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University with distinction.
Tom is a Senior Vice President – Capital Markets of O’Connor. He is responsible for leading the firm’s capital markets activities and executing acquisition transactions. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2005, he spent two years at UBS Investment Bank in their Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure group focusing on REIT M&A and equity offerings. Tom is member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. Tom is a graduate of Columbia University – Columbia College (B.A.).
Yawen is Senior Vice President – Tax of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2006, she was a senior consultant in the Real Estate Tax Group at Deloitte & Touche. Yawen is a graduate of the University of Illinois (M.S. in B.A.) and Fordham University (M.B.A. in Accounting & M.S. in Tax).
Neha is Vice President of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2012, she was an Associate of Asset Management at Tishman Speyer focusing on their New York City office portfolio. She also held a role within the Global Portfolio Management group working on investments across the US, Brazil and Europe. Neha is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (B.S.) with degrees in Finance and Real Estate.
Greg is an Assistant Vice President of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2001, Greg held a similar position with a focus on diversified futures funds at Prudential Securities. Greg is a graduate of Fordham University (B.S.).
John is Director, Investor Relations at O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, John Scott led the institutional capital raising team at JLL. John transferred to New York from the London office, where he had worked since 2005. Before this, John spent six years in U.S. Equity Sales at Goldman Sachs and Spear, Leeds and Kellogg (UK) Ltd. John is a graduate of Nottingham University (B.A.) and has an M.B.A. from Cambridge University (Judge Business School).
Ojas Desai is currently Vice President at O’Connor. He joined the company in July 2015 after working at Brixmor Property Group (formerly Centro Properties Group) in their New York corporate office for seven years. While at Brixmor, he was focused on Capital Markets and Portfolio Management and was a key team member during both the acquisition by Blackstone in 2011 and the company’s eventual public offering in 2013. Ojas began his career working in Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives at Barclays Capital and then JPMorgan before transitioning to strategy consulting at Blaqwell. Ojas is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business (B.S.) and University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business (M.B.A.).
Antonio is a Vice President of O’Connor where he is responsible for analyzing and structuring new investments as well as managing existing investments. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2006, Antonio worked as a project manager at a boutique real estate developer in Mexico City. He also co-founded a company that owned and operated 3 units in the restaurant and bar industry. Prior to that, he was a consultant with Michael Baker Corp, a provider of engineering and energy services. Antonio is a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana (B.S.) with a degree in Civil Engineering (honors) and INSEAD Business School (M.B.A.).
Samantha is an Analyst of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2014, she was an Associate at JPMorgan Chase working in their real estate division. She previously spent time with Kimco Realty, focusing on their Southeast retail portfolio. Samantha graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (B.S.) with degrees in Finance and Economics.
Andrew is a Vice President – Information Technology of O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2001, Andrew was a Project Manager for Marks Systems and Health Tech Systems. Andrew is a graduate of Briarcliffe College (B.A.) and a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Peter is President at O’Connor Property Management. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, he served as acquisition manager for The Wilder Company and President for Breslin Realty. For the past 30 years, he has been involved in several management, leasing, and development transactions throughout the country. At O’Connor, he is responsible for the site selection and development of several large-scale retail assets.
Lynn Riff is Lease Administrator at O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, she served for over 17 years as Property Administrator for NAI Merin Hunter Codman, Inc., a commercial real estate and property management company based in West Palm Beach, FL. Lynn assisted in managing office and retail properties totaling 561,560 SF. Her responsibilities included tenant relations, rent collections, management of maintenance personnel and coordinated with vendors. She handled accounts payable and prepared financial reports for owners and oversaw satellite property management offices in Palm Beach, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach. Lynn also ran executive suites on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, FL and Wellington, FL.
Kate is the Senior Leasing Representative at O’Connor handling the leasing for the large-scale retail assets in O’Connor’s portfolio. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, she served as the Senior Leasing Representative for Menin Development since 2003 where she was responsible for leasing and redevelopment of Menin’s portfolio of lifestyle and regional shopping centers in South Florida. Ms. Gilbert began her career in the shopping center industry working for Leonard L. Farber Incorporated as Director of Lease Administration/Tenant Coordination and subsequently was employed by Darryl R. Kaplan Company as Leasing Agent/Tenant Representative representing local, regional and national tenants throughout Florida and the United States. Ms. Gilbert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida.
Yvonne is Director of Property Management at O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2014, she served as Managing Director of Asset and Property Management for McCaffery Interests, Inc., a Chicago-based retail and multi-family development, investment and management firm. Over the last 27 years Yvonne has been directly responsible for or participated in the management, leasing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use assets throughout the United States.
Theresa is Senior Property Accountant at O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2014, she served for 7 years as Property Accountant for Woolbright Development Inc., a retail investment and management company based in Boca Raton, FL. Theresa is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University having earned her Master of Accounting degree with a concentration in Forensic Accounting. She is also a Student Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA), and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Yarileet is the Office Administrator/ Marketing Specialist at O’Connor. Prior to joining O’Connor in 2016, Yarileet was the Store Manager at Alex and Ani Palm Beach and was responsible for Social Media, Marketing and Charity events at the Palm Beach location. Before joining Alex and Ani, she worked with Gables Residential and Bridge Real Estate Group as the Leasing Specialist and Assistant Property Manager for over 7 years. Yarileet is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
